Room Reservation Guide and Information

We chose the flexible group code option so that all guest can pick and choose their own room type at their own preferred dates! Because of this all resort rooms are first come first serve and are not reserved ahead of time for wedding guests. Please note that some room types are already beginning to sell out - and all rooms will definitely be sold out well in advance - with the most popular room types going the quickest.

For this reason we ask that you lock down your room deposit within two weeks of receiving this link or by 11/25/24

All wedding guest must go through our referral link and then apply the unique group code, both below.

Requirements:

Minimum Stay is 3 Nights per Sandals Ochi policy.
Arrival Date No Later than Friday April 10th, 2026.
Must have Valid and Active Passport upon arrival to Jamaica.

Other than these few requirements the Arrival/Departure Date & Room Type is completely flexible.

Tyler & Alyssa will be staying From April 9th, 2026 - April 15th, 2026. Our room will be along the beachside portion of the resort.

Reservation Payments, Edits, Cancellation

Rooms can be fully secured for reservation with a $98 deposit.
Sandals Allows for Flexible Payment Plans if you'd like to spread payments over time.
Edits to Reservation (# of nights, room type, etc.) can be made up to 90 days prior to arrival, but are contingent on availability. If you're still deciding on dates, we'd recommend reserving the 3 night minimum and adding more nights later, shall you wish.
Full Refund for Cancellation is available - please refer to Sandals policy on their website. As of now cancellations before February 2026 are eligible for full refunds.

Beachside vs Hillside at Sandals Ochi

There are two sides to this resort. Each have their own unique restaurants, bars, entertainment, and pools. Guest have full access to both sides. Shuttles reliably transfer guest back and forth, coming every 5 minutes. It's about a two minute shuttle ride up or down the hill.

You can't go wrong with either, but having been there ourselves before, it's something you should consider before booking.

Hillside is a bit more spacious and we'd give it the edge on visual beauty. Sprawling lawns oversee the ocean below.

Beachside you are always mere steps from the beach. For this reason Alyssa and I recommend beachside. We love walking 20 yards to have a quick morning coffee on the beach - or coming back and forth to the beach easily if we forget an item in our room.
